We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and platforms that enable analytics and reporting across the organisation. This role focuses on ensuring data is ingested, transformed, and made available in a secure and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for batch and near Real Time processing

• Develop and manage data ingestion and transformation processes

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms

• Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and analytics teams to support downstream use cases

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues

• Implement best practices for data security, governance, and platform optimisation

Required Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles

• Strong experience building data pipelines in cloud environments

• Proven ability to work with large volumes of structured and semi structured data

Technical Skills

• Azure Data Factory

• Azure Synapse Analytics

• Azure Data Lake

• SQL and data transformation techniques

• Python or similar Scripting languages

• Data pipeline orchestration and monitoring

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (preferred)

• Cloud or data platform certifications are an advantage
