Our recruitment firm is currently supporting a fast-growing, international manufacturing company in the medical technology sector. To strengthen their global IT landscape, we are looking for an experienced SAP PP Application Engineer who wants to play a key role in shaping and optimizing production processes on a global scale.

This is a permanent position offering both technical depth and international exposure, within a regulated (GMP) and innovation-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and further develop global production processes within SAP PP
• Gather, design, and implement cross-site requirements in close collaboration with international stakeholders
• Integrate and technically support MES interfaces and labeling solutions (eg NiceLabel)
• Act as a trusted advisor for business departments and key users worldwide
• Perform SAP customizing, system testing, documentation, and ensure GMP-compliant system validation
• Ensure stable application operations (incident, change, and problem management)
• Coordinate and manage external SAP partners (consulting, development, support)
• Participate in or lead workstreams within international SAP rollout and transformation projects

Your Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP, including customizing (S/4HANA experience is a strong plus)
• Practical experience with MES integration and/or labeling solutions
• Knowledge of related modules such as MM, SD, or SCM is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, solution-oriented mindset, and high level of ownership
• Fluent English and German at B2 level (spoken and written)
