Hardware Technician, SC Cleared, Builds, Repair/Fix, 2 months +, London, ASAP, £Good

Our London-based client is in need of a Hardware Build and Repair Engineer to assist with assessing and repairing devices, before returning them to the inventory stock for future use. This Full time role is anticipated to last for a few months, with onsite support required five days a week. There is also a possibility of contract extension. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess valid Security Clearance.

The Role:

The position will encompass a combination of two responsibilities, outlined as per below:

  • Inspect and fix outdated laptops that have been received at the office from users and are in need of resolution, they will then be put into stock for future utilization as inventory.
  • Building laptops for users

The Person:

  • Proven experience in Desktop Builds, with focusing also on hardware builds and troubleshooting repairs.
  • You should also possess the required tools, such as screwdrivers, for repairing devices.
  • The client will provide the replacement hardware, but would require the successful candidate to carry the necessary tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • SC Cleared is Mandatory
