Role: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets (near Bethnal Green Station)

Pay: 95- 115 per day
Year Group: Year 2

A diverse and inclusive Tower Hamlets primary school is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires structured behavioural and emotional support within a mainstream classroom.

In this Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will support regulation strategies, implement behaviour plans, and provide consistent one-to-one guidance throughout the school day. The pupil responds well to routine, praise, and calm adult support, and the school has a strong SEN and pastoral framework in place.

The school is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant who:

• Has experience supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs

• Can remain calm and consistent during challenging moments

• Understands positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation

• Works well as part of a wider SEN and pastoral team

• Clear behaviour plans and daily staff support

• Strong SEN leadership and pastoral input

• A stable, well-resourced KS1 setting
