Location: Broughton - 60% onsite working requirement (3 days onsite minimum)
Duration: 4 Months
Pay rate: Up to £27 per hour.
An innovative company at the forefront of the aerospace industry, located in Broughton is actively seeking a Supply Officer to join its engineering team. The company is globally recognized for its innovation and contributions to the aviation industry.
The chosen candidate will spearhead supplier performance throughout the entire supply chain within a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the supplier portfolio daily, utilizing current business tools and forthcoming digitalization technologies.
- Proactively anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee demand and forecast control processes.
- Effectively communicate with internal customers, team members, and external suppliers.
- Prioritize tasks within the supply chain.
- Evaluate and address supplier performance issues as needed.
- Take the lead in driving supplier recoveries.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background ideally in one of the following domains: Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering.
- Proficiency in implementing and utilizing digital solutions and tools.
- Experience in cross-border collaboration.
- Expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and hands-on experience with SAP within a manufacturing setting.
