Job Title: Laser Setter/Operator

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Salary: ?14.50 to ?15.00 per hour

Overview:
A manufacturing business based in Coventry is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Laser Setter/Operator to join its production team. This role involves setting and operating Laser cutting machinery, following work instructions closely, and supporting CNC-based production processes. The position is well suited to someone with Laser or CNC exposure who is looking for a stable, day-shift role.

Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate Laser cutting machines in line with job instructions and specifications.
Follow established procedures to ensure accurate and consistent output.
Carry out basic CNC-related tasks using the same operating software.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Monitor machine performance and report any faults or issues.
Carry out basic checks to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with Health & Safety requirements.

Experience & Skills Required:
Previous experience setting or operating Laser cutting machinery preferred.
Some exposure to CNC machinery or software advantageous.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
