Located in Gawcott, near Buckingham, Old Barn Close is a registered care home providing 24/7 care for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities.

What You Will Do

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in promoting independence and dignity. Every day will bring opportunities to make a positive impact, including:

• Supporting with mealtimes, personal care, and daily routines
• Encouraging involvement in activities such as music and art therapy
• Assisting with appointments, shopping, and household tasks
• Organising outings and helping the people we support feel included in their community
• You will work collaboratively with colleagues and the people we support, building meaningful relationships that make a real difference.
• Sleep-ins will be required as part of the role.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference
• A clear communicator who values individuality and listens with respect
• Flexible and a team player, ready to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
• Ideally experienced in care (but full training provided if not)
• A driving licence with access to a vehicle is required
