PPA Teacher Primary (EYFS, KS1 & KS2)
Malton & Surrounding Areas Flexible Up to Full-Time

Some teaching roles are about routine.
This one is about variety, with familiarity built in .

We re working with a small, well-connected cluster of primary schools centred around Malton, with additional schools in Pickering, Driffield, Norton and nearby villages, who are looking for a PPA Teacher to provide consistent cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Although the role involves working across multiple schools, this isn t ad-hoc supply. These schools want a PPA Teacher they know. Someone staff recognise, pupils feel comfortable with, and leadership teams can rely on week after week. You ll rotate through the same schools, becoming a familiar and trusted presence.

The role
You ll deliver PPA Teacher cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, teaching planned lessons and keeping learning on track. One day might be Key Stage 1 phonics, another Key Stage 2 maths, another supporting EYFS provision. It s real classroom teaching, just without the long-term pressures attached. Additional day will be available for those who can work full time in delivering absence cover.

Why teachers like this role

  • Teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 keeps your practice sharp

  • No full class responsibility or long-term workload

  • Familiar schools, familiar staff, familiar routines

  • Flexible hours, from part-time to near full-time

  • A strong option if you re reassessing your role this Easter or exploring new settings in the area

Who this suits
This role suits a qualified Primary Teacher who enjoys teaching across key stages, values flexibility, and prefers consistency over constant change. If you re feeling ready for something different but not ready to step away from the classroom, this offers breathing space without compromise.

What we re looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working across a small school cluster

  • Regular availability, ideally up to full-time

This is the kind of role where you re remembered, requested, and genuinely valued and not just filling a gap.

A reset without risk.
New settings, familiar faces.
Teaching that feels manageable again.

If Easter feels like a natural moment to rethink things, this could be the change that brings teaching back into balance.
