Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30 Saturday 08:00-12:30 (Rota)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Automotive Technician/Car Mechanic to join our busy dealership in Shrewsbury. This role is perfect for skilled technicians who want to work on a wide range of vehicles, from routine servicing to complex repairs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct vehicle servicing, MOT preparation, maintenance, and repairs
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately using diagnostic tools
Perform engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension repairs
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with dealership standards
Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues and communicate effectively with customers

Required Skills & Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, or Car Mechanic
Full UK manual driving licence
Own tools and toolbox
Strong technical knowledge in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repairs
Excellent communication and team-working skills

Desirable Skills
Experience with dealer-level diagnostics and software
Knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles
Ability to work efficiently under time pressures
