The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to be representing a private UHNW family at their stunning Cotswolds residence near Stow-on-the-Wold, who are seeking a Private Estate Gardener to join their first-class team.

The estate features a working Walled Garden, Greenhouses, Plant Nursery, Formal Lawns, Arboretum, Rose Garden, Hot Borders, Stream Gardens, Woodland Gardens, Topiary, Rock Garden, and Heather Garden.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Head Gardener to maintain the garden to a high horticultural standard
• General garden maintenance, including mowing, weeding, and hedge cutting
• Maintain borders and garden areas to the highest possible standards
• Operate a range of garden machinery safely and efficiently
• Work hands-on across all areas of the garden, in all weathers

Skills and Qualifications

• Full driving licence required due to the rural location
• RHS qualifications and spray certificates would be beneficial
• Physically fit with a willingness to continue learning and developing as a horticulturalist
• Passionate about horticulture and maintaining gardens to a high standard
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
