Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 basic + strong uncapped commission
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (flexible)

A growing global freight forwarder with multiple sites across the UK is seeking an experienced Freight Sales Account Manager/Business Development Manager to join its Portsmouth office.

This is a new business-focused role, targeting road freight customers across the South of the UK, offering excellent earning potential and long-term career progression within a fast-growing organisation.

• Win new road freight business across the South of the UK

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new customers

• Develop long-term, profitable client relationships

• Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding

• Prepare quotations and present tailored freight solutions

• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs

• Proven background in freight sales/road freight/logistics business development

• Strong new business development track record

• Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills
