Infrastructure Business Analyst - Contract

Location: Cheshire (2 days per week onsite)
Rate: £420 per day (inside IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start: ASAP/flexible

To be considered for this role, you must live within a commutable distance to Cheshire or Northampton. You must also have recent experience working with/for enterprise level financial services organisations.

Overview
We are supporting a large, enterprise financial services environment seeking an Infrastructure-focused Business Analyst to support a long-term programme of platform, cloud, and infrastructure change. The role sits within a technical delivery environment and will work closely with infrastructure engineers, architects, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities
* Business analysis support across infrastructure and platform initiatives (cloud, hosting, networks, core services)
* Requirements elicitation and documentation for infrastructure-led change
* AS-IS/TO-BE analysis for platform, hosting, and service changes
* Supporting migration, remediation, and modernisation programmes
* Working closely with infrastructure engineers, architects, and delivery teams
* Producing clear BA artefacts including requirements, process flows, impact assessments, and delivery documentation
* Supporting UAT, cutover planning, and BAU handover where required
* Engaging stakeholders across technology, operations, and governance

Key Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within infrastructure or platform environments
* Exposure to cloud, hybrid, or on-prem infrastructure estates
* Experience supporting migration, remediation, or modernisation initiatives
* Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
* Comfortable operating in regulated, enterprise-scale environments
* Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
