Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Core Hours: 10:00-20:00
Rate: 31 ph umbrella equivalent

Role Overview
An acute NHS organisation based in Norwich is seeking Expressions of Interest for experienced Band 7 Radiotherapy Therapeutic Radiographers to support service delivery on a locum basis. The post holder will work within a busy radiotherapy department delivering high-quality patient-centred care and supporting junior staff within the service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe and effective radiotherapy treatment in line with departmental protocols

Undertake online image review and online image matching independently

Support and supervise Band 5/graduate Therapeutic Radiographers

Contribute to maintaining clinical standards, patient safety and service efficiency

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary radiotherapy team

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with professional and organisational standards

Essential Requirements

HCPC registration as a Therapeutic Radiographer

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience

Competence in online image review/online image matching

Experience supervising or supporting junior radiographers

Strong understanding of radiotherapy workflows and clinical governance

Desirable Experience

Previous NHS experience

Experience working in the private sector or overseas at an equivalent level

Experience using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators

Additional Information

Candidates must not be working in a contracted or bank capacity within any local NHS Trusts in the region

Limited onsite parking during standard hours public transport is recommended
