Cleaning Operative (Part-Time)

Location: Port Dundas, Glasgow (2 offices adjacent to each other)
Hours: Monday Friday, 6:00am start
Average Hours: 15 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness across two neighbouring office buildings in Port Dundas, Glasgow. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who is organised, punctual, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of office areas, including desks, floors, and communal spaces

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping

• Dusting and wiping surfaces

• Emptying bins and recycling

• Cleaning kitchen/tea prep areas and toilets

• Maintaining cleaning supplies and reporting any issues

• Ensuring both offices are clean, safe, and presentable for staff and visitors

Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Start time: 6:00am

• Approximately 15 hours per week

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Good attention to detail

• Comfortable working early mornings

• Right to work in the UK
