Electrical Supervisor North West (Bury, BL9)

Salary: Between £40k - £50k + Pension + Bupa + Car Allowance (Car review after 6 months)

As our client continues to develop and expand their Electrical Division, they are seeking to strengthen the team with a key new appointment an Electrical Supervisor.

While the title may sound familiar, this is far more than a traditional supervisory role. Thiss opportunity is ideal for someone ambitious and driven, who wants to help build and shape a department from the ground up and forge their own long term career path within a growing organisation. The role is perfect for someone who is already working in a supervisory role or for someone who is ready to take their first step in to supervising a team.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach balancing technical installation work with supervisory and management responsibilities, playing an instrumental role in the department s development.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical installations meet current regulations and the highest quality standards.
• Maintain and monitor compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
• Oversee and deliver projects on time, ensuring programmes are met or exceeded.
• Lead structured meetings with on-site staff, clients, and management teams.
• Complete testing, inspection, and certification of works.
• Undertake and deliver small works installations.

What We re Looking For

• A dynamic, motivated individual seeking a challenge and the opportunity to grow with the business.
• C&G 18th Edition Electrical Installations qualification (essential).
• Experience working within Healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of various electrical systems, including high/low voltage, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Proven work stability and longevity in previous roles.
• Ideally C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing). If you don't have 2391 our client will put you through your certification.
• Ideally SSSTS or higher certification.
• Additional desirable certifications: Manual Handling, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must live within a 20-mile radius of Bury (BL9).
