Account Manager/Sales Executive

Location: Basildon

Salary: 35000

Working hours: 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Managing key client accounts, ensuring they receive excellent service and identifying opportunities for growth
• Engaging and influencing customers, from one off buyers to long term accounts
• Handling a mix of standard and more complex enquiries, providing quotations and processing orders
• Gathering competitor and market intelligence, analysing opportunities, and helping to secure profitable business
• Meeting with clients to develop relationships and secure new business opportunities
• Working closely and negotiating with UK and international suppliers

Key Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a sales and customer service environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Competence with CRM systems, Word, and Excel
• Ability to up-sell, cross-sell, and contribute to profit growth
