ABC Education is an award-winning alternative provision organisation seeking either a Qualified Teacher (QTS) or Experienced tutor (2 years plus) to deliver in-person tuition to learners with SEND and SEMH needs.

ABC Education supports children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education due to anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, or emotional and mental health needs. Tuition is delivered either in school settings or home environments, with a strong focus on re-engagement, confidence, and progress.

This role is ideal for a reflective, adaptable teacher who values relationship-based practice and personalised learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver personalised Maths and/or English tuition aligned to individual needs

- Build positive, trusting relationships to support engagement and regulation

- Use creative, flexible approaches to learning

- Complete session reports and contribute to progress reviews

Essential Criteria

- Minimum 2 years' experience supporting learners with SEND/SEMH

- Strong safeguarding knowledge

- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

- Right to work in the UK
