Aspire People is working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in the M11 area of Manchester, who are seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in EYFS and KS1.

This school places a strong emphasis on early intervention, communication development, and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping young learners feel safe, supported, and confident within the classroom.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
Supporting children with ASD, speech and language needs, and social communication difficulties
Assisting with structured routines and sensory-based activities
Supporting learning through play and early phonics/numeracy activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting pupils with SEND within the last 2 years
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong understanding of EYFS and KS1 development
Confident supporting personal care where required
A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
