Exciting Opportunity: Perm Senior Respite Support worker (Eden Lodge & Wickett Hern Rd, Doncaster, DN1 3BU)

Role Overview:

You'll oversee the day-to-day running of Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Rd, ensuring our short-stay services meet the highest standards in line with CQC and CDC guidelines. Acting as Service Lead in the absence of the Registered Manager, you'll be the driving force behind quality care and positive outcomes.

What You'll Do:

Champion quality principles: cleanliness, safety, dignity, choice, and participation

Implement person-centred, outcome-focused support plans

Address safeguarding concerns in line with South Yorkshire procedures

Lead handovers, meetings, staff supervision, training, and mentoring

Support individuals with daily living, activities, and independence

What We're Looking For:

Education: Level 3 Health & Social Care (Level 4 desirable)

Experience: Health & Social Care, learning disabilities/ADHD, care planning, QA systems, multi-disciplinary teamwork

Knowledge: Current legislation, community-led support, IT systems (Word, Excel, email, service user records)

Perks & Details:

Salary £28132 - total package £30523

Shift Allowance: 8.5%

Rota: Every other weekend working, with monthly shift allocation

Hours: 37 hrs per week, managed flexibly across a 4-week rota
