Very well known QSR business that manufactures some of its own products in a central production unit

Description

  • lead the quality management system and make sure they're always audit-ready
  • define product and process specs, and challenge the status quo when needed
  • support new product development with your food tech know-how
  • maintain third-party accreditations including BRC Grade A
  • manage non-conformances and drive continuous improvement
  • monitor customer feedback and complaints - and turn insights into action
  • be our go-to expert on food safety, legislation and quality assurance
  • audit, inspect and keep our systems sharp
  • ensure all suppliers are up to scratch and fully certified
  • spot risks in the supply chain before they become problems
  • champion best practice

Profile

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • proven experience in a food technical or quality assurance role in a factory environment for a BRC rated factory
  • food-related degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • internal auditor and HACCP Level 3 qualified
  • strong knowledge of food legislation
  • confident communicator and team player
  • experience managing people and processes
  • full uk driving licence
