I am currently resourcing a Contract SQL Data Analyst on behalf of a client within the insurance sector. Previous experience within the insurance sector is imperative. This role is fully remote, falls outside IR35 regulations and is expected to last up to 6 months. The budget for this role sits between £400-£450 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions in the insurance domain.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources.
• Create and optimise reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analysis and reporting processes.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights to support business strategy and operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues promptly to maintain data reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as an SQL Data Analyst, particularly within the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear insights.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI) to create reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
