Solutions Architect

My client, a large public sector organisation require the skills of a technical astute Solutions Architect who will be responsible for identifying solutions and managing the design and implementation to support the transition to Windows 11 of my clients EUC estate.

The contract will involve:
* Lead and manage the evaluation, identification, design, and delivery of solutions to improve and digitalise ICT services.
* Analyse systems and enhance procedures, reviewing and updating documentation standards and templates.
* Review and update the transition of projects into the ICT Services team for BAU (Windows 11 rollout).
* Represent the Council externally in meetings, seminars, user groups etc, taking a lead role in the development and delivery of new ICT products and services (Windows 11).

The successful contractor will have extensive experience within the public sector, in-depth knowledge and understanding of major trends and themes in technology, specifically in local government and public services.

You will also have sound knowledge of relevant IT Management Standards and approaches including, but not limited to, ITIL, TOGAF, DevOps

This role has been deemed outside IR35 and the work will dictate the amount of onsite required (expected to be 1-2 days per week).
