Air Freight Operator - Import and Export

Location: Bradford (Office Based)

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break)

Salary: Competitive - Dependent on Experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Operator (Import & Export) to join a well-established and expanding freight forwarding business based in Bradford. This is a full-time, office-based role offering long-term career stability within a supportive operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing air freight import and export operations end-to-end
• Liaising with customers and overseas agents globally
• Booking, coordinating, and monitoring consignments
• Preparing and processing all relevant shipping documentation
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years' experience in air freight (import/export)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop
