I am currently working alongside an established public sector client who are looking forward to welcoming an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to their team based in Reading.

Job Description:

• Electrical Engineering Manager
• Managing the in-house electrical maintenance team ensuring high quality repairs across the site.
• You will have approximately 12 eletricians reporting into you.
• Line manager for DLO reactive trades, maintenance assistants and apprentices.
• Ensure sickness and holiday are covered within your rota.
• Support the delivery of efficient yet professional maintenance.
• Manage work flow.
• Ensure your DLO team are competent and trained including all training records are kept up to date.
• Ensure your team adhere to correct procedures for completion.
• You will operate as a lead low voltage authorised person and ensure the all LV AP's are trained.
• Place orders and approve invoices in line with guidelines.
• Record and recharge your work to each appropriate budget holder.
• Be proactive in maintaining and promoting a secure and safe working environment for all individuals.
• Carry out audits of staff and contractors.
• 35 HR working weeks
• Monday - Friday
• Pool van given
