Our client (Chemical Industry) is looking for Oracle EBS Manufacturing Functional Consultant with strong expertise in configuration, setup, and end-to-end testing of Oracle E-business Suite Manufacturing modules. Proven ability to translate business requirements into system configurations, validate solutions through rigorous testing, and support stable production deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Configuration & Setup

• Configure and maintain Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules including:
• Bills of Material (BOM)
• Work in Process (WIP)
• Inventory (INV)
• Cost Management (CST)
• Engineering (ENG)
• Quality (QA)
• Define and configure:
• Organizations, subinventories, locators
• Item attributes, templates, and categories
• BOM structures, routings, and resources
• WIP parameters, work orders, and scheduling
• Support manufacturing costing methods (Standard, Average, FIFO) and period close processes.

Solution Design

• Map business processes to Oracle EBS standard functionality.
• Prepare functional design documents (BRD, MD50/MD70, setup documents).

Testing & Process Validation

• Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for manufacturing flows.
• Perform
• Process & Regression Testing
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• Support
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate end-to-end manufacturing transactions:
• Item creation - BOM/Routing - Work Order - Completion - Costing
• Log, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Ensure compliance with business and audit requirements during testing.

Data & Cutover Support

• Support data migration and validation for items, BOMs, routings, and open WIP.
• Execute cutover activities and provide go-live and post-production support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Technical teams.
• Coordinate with Oracle EBS Technical developers for RICE components.
• Provide functional guidance during issue resolution and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules.
• Deep knowledge of configuration and setup for BOM, WIP, Inventory, and Costing.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes.
• Extensive experience in functional testing and UAT support.
• Ability to create clear functional and testing documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 5+ Oracle EBS R12+ implementation experience.
• Exposure to discrete manufacturing environments.
• Experience working in ERP implementations, upgrades, or rollouts.
