My Client is recruiting for a Commercial Bodyshop Technician for their Grantham depot.

Key Responsibilities:
- Damage Assessment and Repair Planning: Inspect damaged vehicles, determine repair needs, and plan the process.
- Structural and Body Repair: Straighten frames, remove dents, and replace damaged panels.
- Welding and Metal Fabrication: Utilize MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques for structural repairs.
- Refinishing and Painting: Prep surfaces and apply paint to match OEM standards.
- Mechanical and Electrical Work (MET): Remove and reinstall exterior trim, mirrors, doors, and electrical components.

Skills, Experience, and Education:

Communication:
- Clear and effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.

Knowledge/Expertise:
NVQ or equivalent

- Strong understanding of automotive/truck body structures, welding techniques, and painting equipment.
- Previous experience in heavy-duty collision repair or auto body repair (3-5+ years).

Innovation:
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and repair techniques.
- Creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex repairs.
