New Business and Compliance Administrator (Permanent)
Location: Douglas, Isle of Man Country: Isle of Man
We are seeking a New Business and Compliance Administrator who will assist the Head of Compliance and the New Business Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients conduct their businesses in compliance with the relevant rules and regulations, and that internal manuals, policies and procedures are being followed.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards.
Manages information flow by researching, recording, and analysing data and information. With a regular flow of information and conducting compliance risk assessments, they ensure that the business runs smoothly.
Trains and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines.
Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.
Required skills include:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate with staff of all levels
Self-starter, able to multi-task and work with minimal guidance
Passion for quality and excellence
Good problem-solving skills
Minimum Qualifications:
A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or Law. A Legal degree would be a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of the South African Legal System strongly desired.
Experience working within the Finance industry.
Holding/working towards a Compliance qualification.
