Job Summary

We are looking to recruit an experienced Fibreglass Laminator who will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing fibreglass. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and lamination schedules

• Prepare moulds and surfaces (cleaning, waxing, gel-coating)

• Measure and mix resins, catalysts, and hardeners accurately

• Lay up fibreglass mat, cloth, and core materials

• Apply resin using brushes, rollers, and squeegees

• Remove air bubbles and ensure full fibre wet-out

• Trim, grind, and finish laminated parts after curing

• Inspect completed components for quality defects

• Carry out repairs to damaged fibreglass structures

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Fibreglass Laminator

• Ability to work accurately with hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments
