My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Stores/FLT Driver

The Job:

• Manage the stores department with a busy Goods in/Out area.
• Update MRP systems and organise all storage.
• Update inventory and stock level and consult with production department.
• Collect all waste on site from the manufacturing area and remove.
• Assist with shipping documents for good to be collected by courier.
• Weight and measure all components for despatch and communicate with relevant departments.
• Comfortable using hand tools to make storages boxes for items to be transported.

About you:

• Experience of working in a busy goods in/out department, ideally within manufacturing
• MUST have exeperience of working MRP systems
• Possess good computer skills and confident with shipping documents
• Good written skills with the ability to consult with other departments.
• Valid FLT licence and competent using hand/pallet truck.
• Excellent organisational skills and the need to maintain a tidy environment.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and manage the stores area daily.
