Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Residential Housebuilding

We re recruiting on behalf of a leading UK residential developer for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy Commercial team within a growing Business Unit.

This role supports the procurement, commercial, and contractual delivery of residential projects, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with procurement, cost control, and commercial management

• Scheduling and quantifying materials and labour

• Processing applications, payments, variations, and day works

• Supporting budgets, CVRs, cash flow, and cost-to-complete reporting

• Monitoring and reporting project cost movements

• Attending site regularly and supporting valuations

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and H&S standards

• Industry-related qualification (or working towards)

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• IT literate, COINS experience preferred
