Role Overview
The Commercial Manager is responsible for the financial and commercial management of construction projects. The Commercial Manager ensures cost control, value optimisation and effective risk management across the project portfolio. This role requires a commercially focused Commercial Manager with strong leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of projects as Commercial Manager

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports

• Oversee procurement and subcontractor commercial arrangements

• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts

• Identify and mitigate commercial and financial risks

• Support contract negotiations and dispute resolution

• Provide commercial advice and reporting to senior management as Commercial Manager

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in commercial management or quantity surveying

• In-depth understanding of construction costs and contracts

• Excellent financial, analytical and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage teams and workloads effectively

• Relevant qualification preferred for a Commercial Manager role
