Mechanical Design Engineer - Fire Suppression/Oil and Gas

Nottingham or Wymondham, Norwich

Hybrid minimum 3 days per week in the office

Duration 6 months

Bill rate max £44 p/h

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our Fire Suppression and Production Systems department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, understanding of industry standards, engineering calculations, documentation and design. This role involves designing engineering solutions, liaising with internal & external stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of various mechanical solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards (CAFS, INERT fire Suppression Systems, HPU, Chemical Injection Packages etc).

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL:
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering
Proven knowledge of the product design.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
Excellent organisational skills
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure
