Job Overview

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer Driver to join their team based in Elvington near York. This role involves the safe delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites across the local area, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer vehicle in line with company and legal requirements
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
• Ensure correct concrete discharge procedures on site
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and site personnel
• Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience driving a concrete mixer (preferred but not essential)
• Good knowledge of local road networks
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
