Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Stratford, East London £46,000 - £48,000 An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a high-profile commercial site in East London. The successful engineer will be working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, as part of a well-established on-site maintenance team, delivering both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
This is a flagship contract for the business, offering exposure to a technically interesting environment and excellent long-term career prospects. The company is well known for investing in its engineers through ongoing training, development, and internal progression.
Key Responsibilities - Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- AHUs and FCUs
- Pumps (including bearings and mechanical seals)
- Cooling towers
- Chilled water systems
- Heat exchangers
- Pressurisation units
- Plumbing and domestic water systems
- Water treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.)
- Tap temperature monitoring
- Generators
- BMS operation
- CRAC units
- Motors
Requirements - Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Apprentice trained (desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in building services maintenance
- Confident and professional when client-facing
- Well organised, methodical, and proactive
Package - £46,000 - £48,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
- 25 days annual leave
