We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing client in Ilkeston to lead and manage a team of staff, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing, who is comfortable maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving operational efficiency.

£30,000-£35,000 salary, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage a team of around 35 production staff
Ensure daily and hourly production targets are consistently met
Lead, motivate, and develop staff to maintain high performance standards
Monitor productivity and drive operational efficiency
Maintain high standards of health & safety and product quality
Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and wider team

About You

Previous manufacturing experience is essential
Experience within mattress, soft furnishings, or furniture manufacturing is advantageous
Proven ability to lead and manage a large production team on a morning shift
Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skills
Confident using computers with excellent communication skills
A hands-on, proactive approach with a strong focus on quality and safety
