A Principal Civil Engineer is needed by iO Associates to work with a top international consulting firm for design, engineering, and project management. They work in the infrastructure industry. By utilising virtual, interactive, collaborative, data-rich technology, they assist clients in making better decisions for challenging tasks.
They are looking for a Principal Civil Engineer in Epsom, London, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow offices.
You bring proven knowledge and experience in:
- Proficiency in external works design, including utilities, paved and unpaved surfaces, earthworks, access and accessibility, construction logistics, and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices.
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Proven track record in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Expertise in creating inside suitable digital analysis programmes while adhering to regional and federal regulations.
- For drainage, for example, utilise InfoWater, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, or InfoWorks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a group of individuals who perform technical design work to a high standard of quality while adhering to applicable design standards and codes.
- Create job scopes, briefings, and input for bid submissions.
- Effectively manage finances and time to meet important project deadlines and objectives.
- Comply with design quality assurance requirements.
