Contract: Full-time

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality science education at Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcome but not essential)

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and achievement

• Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies

• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum

• Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

• Have strong subject knowledge in Science

• Be passionate about teaching and learning

• Be a reflective practitioner committed to professional development

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
