An opportunity for an accomplished IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Manager has arisen with a leading global law firm client of ours.

As an IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Manager, you will lead the global IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery program to uplift services, risk identification & management. You will be responsible for continuous improvement activities which underpin the efficient return to service in the event of a catastrophic failure in services.

Key responsibilities:

- Oversee the creation, implementation, and communication of IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain, test, and improve IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and documentation.
- Develop accreditation plans for IT Business Continuity, aiming for standards such as ISO22301.
- Serve as the IT subject matter expert for client inquiries, RFPs, and during internal and external audits.
- Evaluate new or changed IT continuity requirements, proposing business cases if necessary.
- Develop, in conjunction with senior management, the annual test schedule to include technical recovery tests and tabletop exercises.

Required Experience:

- Substantial proven experience in BCDR role.
- Membership of BCI or DRII or a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
- Previous experience of IT risk assessment.
- Previous business analyst experience.
- Strong vision that is aligned to delivering business goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with, lead and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational, planning, prioritising and execution skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, along with demonstrated presentation skills.
