Job Title: Process Architect
Location: London (2 x days per week)
Salary/Rate: Up to £450 per day
Start Date: Feb 2026
Job Type: 6-month contract (Inside IR35)

Company/Role Introduction:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Process Architect to join our global client in the financial services sector for an exciting contract opportunity.

Experience:

• Senior Process Architect with strong business domain expertise, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, with a clear specialisation in Process Architecture, Business Architecture, and Business Process Engineering.
• Proven ability to design, govern, and evolve enterprise-wide process architectures for large, complex financial institutions.
• Demonstrated success in re-engineering and optimising end-to-end value streams and core banking processes.
• Strong understanding of IT Architecture and its alignment with process, business, and data architectures.
• Hands-on experience with BPM and process modelling tools such as Blueworks Live, Signavio, or equivalent platforms.
• Solid experience in process modelling standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks within regulated environments.

Objectives:

• Define, maintain, and govern the enterprise process architecture, ensuring consistency, traceability, and alignment with business and IT strategy.
• Lead the documentation, analysis, and redesign of business processes and value streams to improve efficiency, speed, cost, and quality.
• Establish and implement a structured Business Process Management (BPM) approach, enabling processes to be measurable, scalable, and adaptable to change.
• Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and IT teams, ensuring process designs support customer needs, regulatory compliance, and strategic objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process dependencies, risks, and optimisation opportunities, including automation and digitisation.
• Ensure process architecture artifacts support governance, impact analysis, and change management across the organisation.
