Are you a passionate food industry professional ready to take the next step in your technical career?

We're seeking a Technical Manager to lead the site's Technical and Hygiene functions - driving food safety, quality, and compliance to the highest standards. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, leading your team to ensure every product leaving site is safe, legal, and exceptional.

What You'll Be Doing as the Technical Manager:

• Lead site compliance across HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and customer codes of practice - embedding a culture of food safety excellence.
• Own technical governance, managing internal audits, non-conformances, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to meet BRCGS and retailer standards.
• Drive hygiene performance, ensuring effective cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, and best-in-class standards across all operations.
• Be the customer champion, representing the site during audits, visits, and technical reviews, ensuring confidence and collaboration with key retail partners.
• Support innovation and new product launches, ensuring technical readiness and alignment with QAS, specifications, and process validations.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a talented team across QA, Compliance, and Hygiene - empowering them to deliver exceptional technical performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Operations, and Commercial teams to proactively manage quality, food safety, and site improvement projects.
• Champion continuous improvement, driving technical KPIs, sustainability initiatives, and digital system enhancements to elevate performance and efficiency

What You'll need as the Technical Manager:

• Proven track record in a similar technical management role within food manufacturing in the UK
• Able to demonstrate effective team management skills
• Experience supplying products and communicating directly to major retailers
• Full UK working rights - no visas available
