Holt Engineering are looking for a Logistics & Shipping Manager to join a fast paced manufacturing and distribution company based near Poole.
The ideal candidate will have experience within transportation, distributions and shipping roles, the essential part of this role is to ensure all orders and prodcuts and distributed succesfuly.

For the Logistics & Shipping Manager the key responibilites will include:

• Coordinate dispatch schedules to ensure products reach customers and distribution hubs on time.
• Plan and manage inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs partners.
• Manage all shipping and export/import documentation, including customs paperwork and transport records.
• Identify opportunities to reduce freight spend and improve delivery performance.
• Lead team meetings and encourage a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
• Apply best practices in routing, load planning, and shipment visibility.
• Carry out risk assessments related to transport and shipping activities.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of logistics staff.

The Logistics & Shipping Manager role may also include further duties when and if the company requires the support.
