Delivery Lead

Contract: Up to 6 months
Location: Central London (hybrid - 2-3 days per week in office)

An experienced Delivery Lead is required to support a priority Central Government transformation programme, leading delivery of a defined project within a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on a critical data and technology workstream and requires strong delivery leadership in a complex environment.

• Lead delivery of a defined project, ensuring outcomes are met within time, cost, and quality constraints

• Own and manage the project plan, budget, milestones, and controls

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the project team

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance effectively

• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including officials and delivery partners

• Report progress, risks, and performance to programme leadership

• Contribute to wider programme planning and reporting

• Proven experience delivering complex or high-risk projects

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and operating with high autonomy

• Practical expertise in risk and issue management

• Deep understanding of data and technology within delivery environments

• Experience in Central Government programmes

• Relevant qualifications (eg PRINCE2, Agile PM, APM)
