At Outreach Staffing Solutions we are seeking an Experienced Registered Manager to join our team and support with Managing a modern solo EBD Children's Home in the West Yorkshire area. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front and manage the home supporting young people aged 7 -17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, while providing and safe and nurturing environment for Young People.
Duties
- To be responsible for the day to day operation/Management of an Ofsted regulated residential provision.
- Lead, support, and develop staff teams to provide a therapeutic, child-centred environment.
- Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Manage and personalise Care plans to each child to meet there needs and
- Promote structure, emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood while providing a safe nurturing setting.
- To develop high standards of communication with local authorities, social workers, schools, health professionals, and families.
- Working knowledge of The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the 'Guide to the Children's Homes Regulations, including the Quality Standards 2015.
- Excellent knowledge of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a Children's Residential setting.
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Children & Young People.
- Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Children's Residential.
- Proven track record with Ofsted achieving a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' grading as a Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.
- Within the last 5 years, to have at least 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Worked for a least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and access to own Vehicle.
