Aspire People is currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Manchester. These roles are ideal for candidates looking for flexibility, varied experience, or a Pathway into a long-term SEND position.
We work closely with schools to ensure placements suit your experience, strengths, and availability.
The Role May Involve:
Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
Providing 1:1 or small-group interventions
Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Helping pupils access the curriculum in a meaningful way
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements:
Recent experience working with SEND pupils (school-based preferred)
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills
Willingness to support across different year groups
A genuine passion for inclusion and child development
