4g Network Expert (Contract)
Location: Reading/Leatherhead Country: UK Rate: 500-550/day
Predominately remote with travel to Reading/Leatherhead (once a week)
Travel to the USA every 2 months (Expenses paid)
3 months +
£500-550 inside/umbrella
4G Network Expert, primarily RAN aspects and interface between RAN and EPC (4G Core)
Must have:
1. In depth knowledge of 4G RAN protocol stack and flows between eg RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC and PHY.
2. In depth knowledge of interfaces, protocols and flows between 4G Core and eNodeB.
3. Knowledge of Mobility Management (MME) and HSS (Home Subscriber Server) in 4G Core.
4. Knowledge of Radio resource scheduling and management.
5. Technical Architecture and design.
Desirables:
1. Knowledge of NB-IoT
2. Knowledge of 4G Core
3. Knowledge of 5G Network, O-RAN
4. Knowledge of Satellite Communications concepts and NTN.
