Role Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Air Import Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full air import process, ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant handling of shipments. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end air import operations from arrival to final delivery.
• Coordinate with airlines, handling agents, hauliers, and customers to ensure efficient cargo movement.
• Complete and process import documentation, including customs declarations and relevant compliance paperwork.
• Monitor shipments, resolve delays or issues, and keep customers informed throughout.
• Maintain accurate data entry and update internal systems with shipment information.
• Provide quotations and support internal teams with import knowledge when needed.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, customs regulations, and international trade requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional and proactive communication.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in air import operations (essential).
• Strong understanding of customs procedures and import regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
• Good IT literacy, including experience with freight systems and Microsoft Office.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
