CNC Miller

Full-Time 40 Hours per Week Flexible Working Hours

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working to high-quality standards.

The Role:

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, working from both 3D models and technical drawings. The role involves close collaboration with inspection to ensure components meet required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming CNC milling machines from models and engineering drawings
• Setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Checking components and dimensions to ensure quality and accuracy
• Liaising with inspection to resolve any quality or tolerance issues
• Carrying out basic machine and work area housekeeping
• Maintaining safe working practices at all times

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer (Milling)
• Experience with Heidenhain controls preferred
• Fusion experience desirable
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Hours & Benefits:

• 40 hours per week, flexible around core hours 8:00am - 4:00pm
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• Overtime paid at 1.25x
