Performance Test Lead, £475 per day inside IR35

5 months initially, Cardiff & Remote Working

Bench IT require an experienced Test Analyst to join a large organisation starting ASAP to delivering a major Cloud Transition Programme running from 2026-2028, migrating applications from on-premise datacentres into Azure and Google Cloud. The successful Tester should have the skills and experience include below;

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable expertise in performance testing within cloud migration or complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud networking performance validation (latency, packet loss, bandwidth, resilience).
• Strong experience of automated performance test tooling (JMeter, Azure App Testing (formally Azure Load)
• Capability in Azure architecture performance modelling.
• Strong reporting, governance alignment and stakeholder communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with multi-vendor or multi-supplier delivery environments.
• Prior NHS or healthcare-regulated performance testing experience.

Deliverables

• Performance test plan per wave and/or major infrastructure change.
• Executed performance test cycles with documented outcomes.
• Performance tuning recommendations and associated evidence.
• Production of performance test summary reports.
