La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to hire an experience IT Programme Manager into their team, on an initial 6 month contract.

This role is inside IR35 and Leeds/York based, with 2 days a week onsite required.

As a Programme Manager you will typically be responsible for managing suites of initiatives that have the same strategic outcomes, but where scope is broad and needs full definition. In addition to technical delivery these 'programmes of work' will often be characterised by significant operating model redefinition as well as customer and colleague behavioural change. These roles will require significant experience working with technology and business stakeholders at the highest levels within an organisation and would be expected to have some degree of Group input.

Key Experience:

• Be able to demonstrate ability and gravitas to work at the most senior levels of the organisation to achieve the vision for technology.
• Managing delivery through considerable ambiguity, able to drive consensus on plan of action across UK entity and also often across Group function.
• Recognised project/portfolio/programme management qualification(s) and/or experience of having led projects, programmes, or portfolios ideally in a Financial Services context
• Be an expert communicator, able to simplify complex pieces of information and use the right channels of communication to drive action.
• Extensive experience managing challenging stakeholders up to Executive level
• Experienced working as a Programme Manager with multiple projects in an environment with challenging timeframes and deliverables.
• Experience managing the full programme life cycle, from vision creation through to delivery and benefits realisation
• Experience of detailed programme level planning and management, across people, process and multiple systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
