Our client is looking for a DevOps SME with experience with OpenShift Virtualization on a six month initial contract, working 2/3 days a week onsite in London or Sheffield. This role is Inside IR35.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
* Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium, JMeter, and Postman to ensure application quality and performance.
* Orchestrate and manage workloads on Kubernetes and OpenShift using CLI tools.
* Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines and workloads in OpenShift Virtualization (OCPV).
* Automate VM life cycle operations (provisioning, scaling, migration, backup, and recovery) within OCPV.
* Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate testing, deployment, and virtualization processes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD, testing, container, and virtualization environments.
* Ensure security, compliance, and best practices for both container and VM workloads.
* Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
